Jane Higgs & William Sakala, both district nurses explained their role in “keeping patients” at home. They have very dedicated teams and patients are very happy to be able to stay at home. Their main focus in the last year was on pressure ulcers which have declined by 47 % in the last year

Nursing is a profession requiring dedication and more so district nursing, visiting patients at home. I have seen a few visitors who cannot wait to leave, sign the time sheet and dash!
