The Public Consultation at The Emirates Stadium focused on the proposal to end all children's heart surgery at the Royal Brompton Hospital. This was fiercely opposed by the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, it's patients and supporters. The panel addressed very few of the questions posed by the people.  Here are some comments after the event, from Robert Bell, Chief Executive of the trust.

Dear Donald

Thank you for making this. It shows we were there. It is a pity that background noise was a problem.

Listing to the news today, 5.7.12 it was obvious the powers that be had decided a long time ago to dump The Royal Brompton. No regard for the various other factors that come into play, like cistic fibrosis etc. I hope they and Harefield can survive this 'attack' . Looking at other videos on this site, Harefield is going from strength to strenght. Keep up the good work.
