Medical director and consultant cardiologist Dr. Richard Grocott-Mason’s experience as a consultant cardiologist spans 17 years. He completed his training at Jesus College, Oxford and St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School, London, qualifying in 1986. He then trained in cardiology and general medicine at a number of hospitals, including:  King’s College Hospital, The London Chest Hospital, Guy’s Hospital, Harefield Hospital, The University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff. He is a founding member of the primary angioplasty team at Harefield Hospital NHS Foundation trust.
Dr. Grocott-Mason has worked at Hillingdon Hospital and Harefield Hospital since 1999, combining clinicaal work with clinical leadership roles, including clinical director for medicine and then joint medical director and responsible officer for the Hillingdon  NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Grocott-Mason is passionate about ensuring that patients receive a high-quality service and finding innovative ways to organise and run clinical services.
