An excellent video explaining the various aspects of Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Some very good information to help people who are suffering with the problem. Cards are available to help with, how to make a cup of tea or how to open a door, make a ham sandwich or flush a toilet or make cheese on toast. All that is required is a programmed laptop and the ability to use it. To help with research, some people have, in their will, donated their brain to Alzheimer’s Research. You can have genetic testing to find if you have a family history with the disease for people from 30 to 80 years old. If you are able to speak other languages, it appears you could extend by four or five year before you get the disease. If you would like to learn  Chinese bear in mind that each word has five different tones, the slightest difference in your pronunciation, will make a different word. I know, my Chinese crewman taught me a word a day, reading, writing and saying the word, for over a year, that was a lot of Chinese. The years years have flown by, I have forgotten most of it. Confucius say, “If you don’t use it, you loose it”.  D.E.
