Dr Catherine O’Keeffe

Catherine is Dean of Healthcare Education for HENWL (job share with Dr Kathryn Jones) and Head of Professional Development, HENWL. She is currently responsible for HENWL’s work in relation to key areas including: primary and community nursing, Allied Health Professionals and Advanced Practice. She also leads the pan-London Professional Support Unit (PSU) and Multiprofessional Faculty Development team.  The PSU provides holistic expert led specialist services to support the professional development of clinicians. Multiprofessional Faculty Development focuses on enhancing workplace learning and supervision for healthcare professionals involved in clinical education. Catherine is visiting fellow at the Institute of Education where she teaches on masters and doctoral programmes related to clinical education. Catherine is a nurse with a background in HIV care, international development, inter-professional education and research.
