It's outrageous to suggest obesity is a disability. I am very much in agreement with the doctor and not the social justice warriors. Obesity should not be subsidised or encouraged at all in our society; it is unhealthy and unsustainable. Why can't we discriminate against fat, lethargic people against healthy active individuals? It was your life choice to eat too much. But- no man is an island. Consider that before chowing down till you can't see your feet.

I agree with Dr. Rosemary why should we pay for these people who do not know how to control their greed. The situation of obesity is disgraceful in this country. It should be in the terms of their contract to maintain a slim figure.

There is an analogy with disease caused by smoking - also self-inflicted. Should we stop helping patients with diseased lungs? Time to stop the flood of TV programmes pushing luscious food recipes and food adverts in glossy magazines - just as cigarette advertising has been stopped.

I do not see why we the general public should have to pay for these people who have no control over their greedy habits.' If they do not put it in they will not put it on'. Simple.
