Claire Strickland appointed Chief Executive of Paul Strickland Scanner Centre at the end of April 2014
Claire's most recent position was as a Senior Consultant within the Healthcare Team at BDO, the world's 5th largest accountancy and business advisory firm. Prior to that, she had been Head of Physiotherapy Practice at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Claire graduated as a Physiotherapist from Coventry University and in 2005 was awarded a Fellowship of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Between 1999 and 2003 Claire held a strategic leadership role as Vice Chair, then Chair, of the CSP Council and was invited to speak at a range of national and international conferences.
Claire has had experience of commissioning, having been a member of the Professional Executive Committee (PEC) of Tower Hamlets PCT for four years, leading on service redesign of a range of patient pathways. She is also an experienced service manager having held the post of Joint Head of the Physiotherapy Service at Bart's Health NHS Trust.

Claire believes that the patient must always come first when delivering high standard

Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is a wonderful organisation, it puts the patient at ease from entering to leaving. It is funded by donations from the public and by events.
