The Northwood and Pinner Hospital has beenn under threat for many years. In 1983 our Founder Chairman, Mike Turner, was amongst those who occupied the hospital for three months, winning their High Court action against proposed closure by the Health Authority!  The hospital functioned until 2006, when it was closed by Hillingdon Primary Care Trust, by then full of asbsetos and in dangerous repair. Now it is the responsibility of NHS Property Service Ltd and up for sale.  Nick Hurd MP has long worked with us to protect the site for local people, in accordance with its status as a memorial to the local dead of WWI, paid for entirely by public donations. This video records our member Andrew Riley, Chairman of  Northwood Hills Residents Association, updating us in September 2015.
